Changes Implemented in Maintenance Pack 2 – 2006.01.06 to the Robot Millennium Program
SO Windows 64-bits:
Correction of the execution error on opening the Inspector dialog box;
Corrected lack of an icon on the Robot application bar and blue icons in toolbars;
Enabled selection of fonts when working in the OpenGL mode;
Import/export:
Considerable acceleration of the structure import from the RCAD-Steel program.
No possibility to open IFC format files when working using Dutch, Spanish, Romanian, Russian, Ukrainian and Chinese languages;
Incorrect interpretation of UCS during import of DXF files;
No possibility to apply “linear releases” when working in the Dutch language version;
Structure edition:
Expansion of the ASD American section database;
Enabled mesh generation on volumetric objects defined by means of outer walls;
Corrected work of edit fields in the Inspector dialog box;
A new French “library structure” – 3D frame;
Expansion of the PN load database with variable, live loads;
Correction of the model error that occurs for bars positioned on edges with linear releases.
Graphic interface:
Removal of errors of the OpenGL mode:
quick movement of the displayed image in large zoom,
loss of the image while using some graphic cards.
Steel member design:
EC3
supplementation of a detailed note with information about classes and slenderness values of the web and the flange;
PN-90/B-03200:
correction of a section class for solid members with a round section defined in the program;
correction of manual calculations (By*Mymax)

correction of the error in calculating the pipe capacity;
CAN-CSA 2001
correction of the error of using coefficients from the formula 13.9(b)
NS 3472:2000:
correction of definition of the buckling length for intermediate stiffeners
Verification of steel connections:
Supplementation of a calculation note with a connection number;
Supplementation of a calculation note for the geometrical verification of the truss chord node (CM66) with detailed information;
Correction of work of Connection Inspector (including the properties dialog box);
Correction of definition of PN connections: beam-beam, fixed column base;
Correction of the error in identifying bars in the “Y” pipe connection.
RC Design:
Beams on the elastic ground:
enabled reinforcement of continuous footings (continuous footings under walls):
Slab required reinforcement:
enabled calculations for the Norwegian code (NS 3473:2003);
correction of work of ”the same
top and bottom reinforcement
” mode;
Beam reinforcement:
modification of the bent bar option (PN);
correction of the reinforcement calculations for the Norwegian code (NS 3473:2003);
Spread footings:
correction of data import for 2 columns;
correction of the soil stress calculations for the BAEL code;
increase of the maximal size of a spread footing to 20 meters.
