Examples
The examples below have been created for presentation and may be arbitrarily modified by users.
The Tower example presents the way how to take advantage of Open Standard (RobotOS) for bar structure definition by means of a macro in the MS Excel spreadsheet. The task of the macro is to generate a simplified geometrical model of a tower (and of masts with triangular sections as well).
Available since version 13.0 of the ROBOT program.
The RoboLT example presents the way how to take advantage of Open Standard (RobotOS) for definition of a parametrized bar structure by means of a macro in a MS Word document. The task of the macro is to analyze a simple bar structure: defining of a structure, applying of loads, running calculations and presenting results in the form of a calculation note.
Available since version 13.51 of the ROBOT program
The aCAD example illustrates the way of using the Open Standard (RobotOS) by the means of macro written in VBA for the AutoCAD 2000 program. The task of the macro is to define the structure's geometry under Robot program based on the drawing defined by the means of AutoCAD program.
Available since the 13.51 version of the ROBOT program.
The Silos example presents the use of the Open Standard (RobotOS) to generate parametrized shell structures by using the macros of the MS Excel spread sheet. The task of the macro is to create a silos model by means of basic objects: line, polyline, arc, contour and available edition options: extrusion, extrusion along polyline and revolution option.
Available since version 14.0 of the ROBOT program.
The Multi-segment Shelter example presents the way of using Open Standard (RobotOS) for bar structure definition by means of a macro in the MS Excel sheet. The task of the macro is to generate a geometrical scheme of the 6- or 8-segment shelter model together with characteristics and uniform load.
Available since version 14.0 of the ROBOT program.
