AutoCAD® Structural Detailing - Formwork Drawings Module

AutoCAD® Structural Detailing is an effective 3D modeling and drawing tool for Reinforced Concrete buildings. Formwork drawings may detail selected elements, storey projections, or vertical cross-sections of the building. Drawings can then be exported to the Reinforcement module, providing the basis for definition reinforcement drawings.

Definition of 3D Building Model

Intuitively create 3D structural models on a storey-by-storey basis. With the AutoCAD Structural Detailing 2D work frame, simply select a grid and add structural elements from wide range of internal or external (*.mdb format) databases. Define RC elements together with steel, masonry, and timber elements.

Intelligent Objects

Use columns, beams, walls, and other objects to dynamically react to changes and automatically update material takeoffs.

Prefabricated Elements

Create convenient databases of Formwork Drawings objects or prefabricated elements through quick conversion of AutoCAD acis solids. Prefabricated elements share full functionality with Formwork Drawing objects, and can be edited, modified, and dynamically updated in schedules and material takeoffs.

Drawings and Material Takeoffs Generation

Prepare workshop drawings with AutoCAD Structural Detailing automatic projection generation for building cross-sections and elevations. Add dimensions and descriptions. Generate schedules and material takeoffs based on a precise 3D structural model. Implement changes in the 3D model, and leaving time-consuming updates of descriptions and dimensions to the software.

Integration with Analysis and Detailing Software

Import 3D structural models from CBS Pro analysis software for 3D assembly and preparation of Formwork documentation. Export 3D structural models to CBS Pro for accurate calculations. Export Formwork drawings to the Reinforcement Module for precise drawings of particular structural elements.
